Configuring the HTML module for the online shop {SEO-Shop}, OpenCart 2.x, 3.x, ocStore

1. Module installation “NeoSeo HTML”

To install the module “NeoSeo HTML” for OpenCart, you must:

1. Go to admin panel and click on “Extras”->”Modules”:
2. In the list of modules that opens, select “NeoSeo HTML” and click the “Install” button:
3. Go to the "Add-ons" -> "Add-ons Manager" section and click on the "Update" button in the window that opens.

This completes the installation of the module and you can proceed to editing the module settings.

2. Editing module settings

To edit the module’s settings, go to the site’s administrative panel and select the “Add-ons” -> ”Modules” section. In the list of modules for OpenCart that opens, select “NeoSeo HTML” and click on the “Edit” button:

After that, the window for editing module settings will appear on the screen:

The “NeoSeo HTML” module allows you to display text with the necessary html-layout on any page of your online store. For example, create a block that contains information about the methods of delivery of goods and display it on the main page of the site. To do this, go to the “Settings” tab and configure the following options:

• The name of the module. A field intended to indicate the name of this module, for example, “Text for the main page”:

After saving the module settings, a module with the name “NeoSeo HTML-> Text for the main page” will appear in the list of additions to your site.

• Block header This field allows you to add a title for the block that displays the necessary text. The field is multilingual, i.e. allows you to add a block title for all languages that are installed in your online store:
• Status. The field is intended to display / hide the block of information on the site. In order to hide the block, in this field select the value “Disabled”:

In order to display the block, in this field select the value “Enabled”:

• Block height. Field designed to limit the block height:

If the required text is greater than the specified block height, the module adds a button to open / hide the block to the specified size.

• Display template. This option allows you to select the desired display template for the information block. The module supports the template “Template-default”:
• HTML block content. A field designed to add text to be displayed in the block. The field is multilingual, i.e. allows you to add block content for all languages that are installed in your online store:

Important!!! After adding all the changes, click the “Save” button:

After saving the module’s settings, in the administrative panel of the site, in the “Add-ons” -> ”Modules” section, a module appeared with the name “NeoSeo HTML-> Text for the main page”:

Now this module can be connected to any page of the site. To do this, go to the admin panel of the site and select the “Design” -> ”Schemes” section. In the list of schemes, select the scheme to which you want to add a block and click on the “Edit” button. For this example, select the “Home” scheme:

In the circuit editing window, click on the “Add module” button:

In the list of modules, select “NeoSeo HTML-> Text for the main page”, in the “Location” column, select the necessary block location and set the sort order:

After making changes to the scheme, click on the “Save” button:

As a result, after adding the module to the “Home” scheme, a block is displayed on the main page of the site that displays information about the methods of delivery of goods:
