Configuring the module Manager the stock for the online shop {SEO-Shop}, OpenCart 2.x, 3.x, ocStore

1. Module installation “NeoSeo Manager shares”

To install the module “NeoSeo Manager shares” should:

1. Go to admin panel and click on “Extras”->”Modules”:

3. In the list of modules for OpenCart that opens, select “NeoSeo Stock Manager” and click the “Install” button:

Go to the "Add-ons" -> "Add-ons Manager" section and click on the "Update" button in the window that opens.

This completes the installation of the module and you can proceed to editing the module settings.

2. Editing module settings

To edit the module’s settings, go to the site’s administrative panel and select the “Add-ons” -> ”Modules” section. In the list of modules that opens, select “NeoSeo Stock Manager” and click on the “Edit” button:

After that, the window for editing module settings will appear on the screen:

The “Settings” tab is used to configure the following options:

• Turn on / off the module. In order to connect the module to the store, you need to select “Enabled” in the “Status” field:
• The settings of the “NeoSeo Stock Manager” module for OpenCart allow you to add special title, description, keywords tags for the main stock page. These fields are multilingual, i.e. allow you to add title, description, keywords tags for all languages integrated into the structure of your site:

Important! After adding all the changes, click the “Save” button:

After installing the module, a new menu item “Stock Manager” is available in the administrative panel of the site:

Note!!! This menu item is available for viewing to those users who have rights to view / modify this module. In order to set user rights, go to the “System” -> ”Users” -> ”User Groups” section, select the required user in the group list and click on the “Edit” button:

Set the rights to view / modify the module “NeoSeo Stock Manager”:

After setting the rights, go to the “Share Manager” section. This section allows you to create and modify store promotions. To create a new promotion, click on the “Add” button:

A form for adding a new stock will appear on the screen:

On the “General” tab, fill in the following fields:

1. Title. Mandatory field for specifying the name of the share. For example, add a promotion called “Discounts on shoes”:
2. Short description. This field is used to enter a brief description of the action. For example, “Hurry up to take advantage of a discount on shoes!”:
3. Full description. The field is intended to enter a full description of the action. For example, “The discount applies to the following products: Sneakers for women Ecco Article: 1001, Sneakers for women Adidas Article: 1002, Sneakers for women Article: 1003, Sneakers for women Olipas Article: 1004".
4. Module settings allow you to add special title, description, keywords tags for the promotion page:

Important! Fields must be filled in all the languages that are in your online store:

• After adding all the changes, click the “Save” button:
• The “Advanced” tab is used to configure the following fields:
• Type of stock. The module offers the following types of promotions: “Discount”, “Gift”. For example, we’ll select the “Discount” type:
• SEO URL. This field is used to enter the url for the promotion page. The address must be unique throughout the system and not contain spaces (instead of spaces, put a “-” sign).

Promotion end date. In this field indicate the end date of the promotion:

• Image for stock. This field is intended for uploading an image (cover) for a promotion. To upload a stock image, in this field, left-click on the image and select “Edit”:

In the dialog box that opens, select or upload the desired image:

To determine the desired image size for the action, you must specify the width and height in the fields “Image width” and “Image height”:

• Output to a single block (to the main). If the value “Yes” is selected in this field, then a separate block containing information about the action will be displayed on the main page of the site.

If you select “No”, the block with information about the action will not be displayed on the main page.

• Display on all categories. If “Yes” is selected in this field, information about the promotion will be displayed on pages of all categories available on your site.

If you select “No”, information about the promotion will not be displayed in all categories.

• Linking shares to categories. If a category falls under the action of the action, then using this field you can specify the names of the necessary categories:
• Linking products to stocks. This field is used to indicate the goods covered by the action:

Important! After adding all the changes, click the “Save” button:

After saving the module’s settings, go to the site’s administrative panel and select the “Add-ons” -> ”Modules” section. In addition to the “NeoSeo Stock Manager”, the list of modules also contains the “NeoSeo Stock List”.

“NeoSeo Stock List” allows you to configure the display of the block of shares on the site.

To configure the output of this block, select the “NeoSeo Stock List” module and click on the “Install” button:

After installing the module, click on the “Edit” button:

The “Settings” tab is used to configure the following options:

• Turn on / off the module. In order to connect the module to the store, you need to select “Enabled” in the “Status” field:
• Title. For each page of the site, the module allows you to create a block of shares with your own configuration. For example, create a block that will be displayed on the main page of the site and call it “Promotions on the main”:
• Template. Using this field, you can select the desired stock block display template. The “NeoSeo Stock List” module supports two templates: “Template-default” and “Template-category”. For example, select the template type “Template-default”:
• Display method. Using this field, you can select the desired method of displaying a block of shares: display shares in a separate block or in a block of categories. For an example, we will choose a way of displaying “Block single”:
• The number of shares in the display. In this field, indicate the number of shares to be displayed in the block of shares:
• To determine the size of stock images in the block, you must specify their width and height in the fields “Image Width” and “Image Height”:

Important! After adding all the changes, click the “Save” button:

After saving the settings of the “NeoSeo Stock List” module, go to the administration panel of the site and select the “Add-ons” -> ”Modules” section. The module “NeoSeo Stock List-> Stocks on the Main” appeared in the list of modules:

Now, this module can be connected to any page of the site. To do this, go to the admin panel and select the “Design” -> ”Schemes” section. In the list of schemes, select the scheme to which you want to add a block of shares, and click on the “Edit” button. For this example, select the “Home” scheme:

In the circuit editing window, click on the “Add module” button:

In the list of modules, select “NeoSeo Stock List-> Stocks on the main”, in the “Location” column, select the desired block location and set the sort order:

After making all the changes, click on the “Save” button:

As a result, after adding the module to the “Home” scheme, we get the following view of the site’s main page:
